New Perspectives: Spirit at Work, Creating a Culture of Intentional Learning

Creating a Culture of Intentional Learning, Jan Maslow (Co-founder of Remember to Be, Asheville, N.C.)

In his seminal book, The Fifth Discipline, Peter Senge describes five disciplines that together help to create a culture that values and supports continuous learning. It is a beautifully integral and integrated vision of what’s possible – both for organizational effectiveness and the creation of a vibrant and joyful work environment – when we honor and support our innate human love for learning.

In this talk, we’ll look at Senge’s five disciplines – personal mastery, shared vision, mental models, team learning, and systems thinking – and the kind of practices that can help to develop them.
