7-week NEW PERSPECTIVES series
The Luminous Path of Sacrifice is more than just a concept; it’s a vibrant, living journey of the spirit. It’s about understanding that every choice we make, every action we engage in, has the potential to be sacred, charged with and fulfilled by the spiritual presence.
Sacrifice isn’t about loss or suffering—it’s about gaining a higher capacity, and more luminous consciousness, about transformation and growth, evolution and progress. When we let go of our egoistic preferences and desires, and our fears, we illuminate the path ahead. It’s like shedding layers that once made us feel heavy, and with each step, we become more of who we truly are. It’s a path paved with selfless actions of the heroic soul, where the light we discover within ourselves shines brightly, guiding us towards a greater self-knowledge and world-knowledge.
In this series we shall try to approach the concept of Sacrifice from different perspectives, examining it from the historical, philosophical, psychological, cultural, linguistic and even scientific point of view.
