  • WHAT PRACTICES DO YOU PERSONALLY FIND HELPFUL?

I asked this question over at the Sunday Sangha WhatsApp page. We had one answer already:

Listening to Vladimir speak on the Rig Veda and Upanishads.

Please share, anyone, what you find most helpful. I’m particularly interested in practice in challenging times:

    When you are angry

when you have planned to practice (reading Savitri, meditation, or whatever) but are resisting it

Planning to review your day and see where your thoughts, emotions, actions are not in harmony with your deepest aspiration

    And so on.

But we’d love to hear about any kind of practice.

I mentioned the simplest practice in the world yesterday – being with the breath. I find this a profound practice of surrender (available 24/7/365!) when there is no effort to “PAY” attention; then Mother’s Presence comes and the mind becomes Silent.

Perhaps you may have your own unique way of practice that you would like to share!

I’m thinking I could make the request more specific:

What do you find, in the midst of the day, helps you to most fully

    to experience the Divine Presence,

    to quiet the mind

    to relax the body

    to open the heart

to be more open to inner/higher guidance

to eat well, exercise more, sleep better

to be more willing to look with sincerity and honesty at one’s foibles, mistakes, etc as Mother invites us to do so many times….
