We walk through life with a gait formed of our wounds and traumas even as by our love and insights. To live free of disease, richly, deeply with a full expression of vitality- this is the goal of Ayurveda. But who is it that lives? That blooms or withers through the seasons of life? Beyond the senses themselves, is there a one that hears, sees, feels, tastes and smells? And if so who is this one? From where did that one come? And where does it go and not go? What does that one do and not do? And why?

This presentation will explore the concept of the soul in Ayurveda with an emphasis upon the question of who is it that suffers? And therefore who or what is in fact a subject of medicine and treatment?
