Dr. Nima Fayazmanesh

Nima Fayazmanesh, M.D. is a board-certified, integrative medicine fellowship-trained psychiatrist at the Tibor Rubin VA’s Combat PTSD Program and a Network-Wide Education Faculty for the VA’s Whole Health program. His areas of clinical interest include psychedelic-assisted therapies, mindfulness meditation and yoga as integrative treatment modalities for mental health conditions, herbs and supplements for psychiatric conditions, biofeedback, and evidence-based medicine, teaching, and research. He is a Brown University Mindfulness Center Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher, a Trained Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher, an iRest Level 2 Teacher, and a Certified Sivananda Yoga Teacher. At the VA, he has developed a mindfulness-based group program for psychiatric outpatients that includes MBSR, MSC, iRest, and Loving-kindness meditation groups and has published research on yoga as a treatment for major depression.
