Robin was born in Switzerland and has lived in several countries, raised in a spiritual household, he was inclined to spirituality from his very childhood.

After graduating from University of California-Los Angeles, he discovered Sri Aurobindo. After reading the Ideal of Human Unity he pursued an MA in Human Behavior and Urban Planning from the United States International University San Diego and worked in the local San Diego County government for 4 years. He completed his degree in Metaphysics from The National Academy of Metaphysics in California, studied Astrology with Carroll Righter, and psychology at William Lyon University in San Diego.

He has been initiated by Swami Veda Bharati and Pandit Rajmani of the Himalayan tradition and was a member and officer in the Sri Satya Sai Baba organization. He is also a horse lover, bhajan singer, and was owner of a car manufacturing enterprise for more than two decades.
