The senses are the doorways to the environment around us for we use them to perceive our outer reality. In today’s world, they are overstimulated by loud music, city noise, useless chatter, excessive use of computers, abundance of products applied to the skin, etc. This impacts our clarity of mind, stability of emotions and overall physical health. However, according to Ayurveda, when the eyes, ears, skin, nose and mouth are nourished on a daily basis, they become refined instruments of knowledge, tuning us into the nuisances of our environment. On the inner level, they can serve as pathways to subtle vision, hearing and touch.
Join Sonia Masocco, a seasoned Clinical Herbalist and Ayurvedic Practitioner with over 20 years of experience, in this engaging All Life Is Yoga two-part Intensive (90-minutes each) and learn and experience the profound use of Five Sense Therapies and how to apply each systematically in your daily life.
Ayurveda is one of the oldest holistic health and healing systems in the world. Developed more than 3,000 years ago, it is based on the wisdom that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between mind, body and spirit. In this All Life Is Yoga webinar, Sonia Masocco explains Ayurveda’s multifaceted approach towards wellness and prevention of disease. When addressing the health of body, mind and spirit, Ayurveda examines all aspects of one’s life, such as diet, exercise, lifestyle, relationships and work, as each has an impact on the expression of one’s health. Understanding and applying basic concepts of Ayurveda will help us maintain a state of balance at each level of being, thereby reducing the possibility for ill-heath and disease.

The heart has been written about in every age and every culture. It is the subject of poems, prose, and parables. The symbol of love, innate wisdom and human character. It is the first organ that develops in a growing fetus, even before the brain. Your heart is the seat of supreme consciousness and the vital center of health. It is the core of our being and through it we experience the nature and connectiveness of all things. In this workshop we explore the physical heart and spiritual heart. Are the two separate? How does one influence the other?

This is NOT a self-improvement seminar to motivate you to do more, nor is it a lecture about all the things you “should be doing.” Instead, it’s a guided reflection on what you can release, to make room for BEING you and doing what really matters.
