Michael Miovic, MD, is Medical Director for Primary Care Behavioral Health in the VA Boston Healthcare System.  He has over 25 years of clinical experience in adult psychiatry, with a special focus on the integration of mental health care into medical settings.  He has published numerous articles on Sri Aurobindo’s consciousness-based approach to psychology, and he recently co-authored a book on this topic with a colleague, Dr. Soumitra Basu.  Dr. Miovic trained at the Harvard Longwood Residency Program and then completed a fellowship in Psychosocial Oncology at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston.
